30, DIRTY & DYING PODCAST

Podcast
Welcome to the show for millennials by millennials — especially those of us who aren’t quite feeling 30, flirty and thriving. If life looks a little different than you thought it might at this age, and you love coping with nostalgia, real talk, and dark humor then this is a podcast for you.

Where to find 30, Dirty & Dying Podcast:

Tell us a bit about you

We’re Clarissa and Kourtney — friends since the early 2010s who came together to cohost 30, Dirty & Dying. Clarissa is a writer and Kourtney is in higher ed with dreams of being a stay-at-home cat mom. We both deal with chronic illness, mental health, and love to cope with 90s/2000s nostalgia.

Tell us about your podcast

Did anyone else expect to be 30, flirty, and thriving at the big 3-0? So did Clarissa and Kourtney, longtime friends and hosts of the millennial podcast tackling life, death, and just getting through each day. From our cringe early 2000s social media posts and all millennial nostalgia to current feelings on getting older and mental health struggles, we’re getting real about what it’s like on this side of 30.

What inspired the podcast?

When we were in our late 20s and early 30s, respectively, we ended up settling down in the same place for the first time in our adult lives. As we started hanging out and reconnecting, we realized that we were in similar spots in life — 30ish, not feeling flirty and thriving, enjoying parts of our lives but struggling to “figure everything out,” and mostly recognizing that 30-something life isn’t what we pictured it would be. We figured we couldn’t be the only ones feeling this way, thus the podcast was born.

Where can we listen to the pod?

We’re on all major podcast platforms, including Spotify, Apple Podcasts, GoodPods, Google Podcasts and more.

What is your favorite thing about being millennials?

The community around being an aging millennial online is really special. We didn’t grow up with the same internet and social media that exists today, but it feels like we can retroactively share a lot of experiences and perspective — especially that signature millennial dark existential humor. It’s great to not feel like you’re the only one who might not have it all figured out.
