A NOSTALGIC MOTHER’S DAY

May 11, 2025

Happy Mothers Day from some of our favorite 90’s mommas 💕

If you grew up in the ‘90s, you know TV moms were more than just background characters—they were the real ones. Whether animated, glam, or rocking mom jeans and real talk, these ladies showed us love, strength, and how to handle chaos like pros.

Here’s a quick throwback to some of the most iconic ‘90s moms we’ll never forget:

1. Fran Sinclair
She was a prehistoric powerhouse—running the house, keeping Earl in check, and raising Baby Sinclair (aka the original king of sass).

2. Peggy Bundy

The original hot mess mom—and we loved her for it. Big hair, high heels, zero interest in cooking or cleaning, but endlessly iconic. Peggy showed us that not all moms fit the traditional mold—and that’s what made her unforgettable

3. Natalie Daise “Mom”

Warm, musical, and full of joy, Natalie felt like the mom next door who always had time for a song, a hug, or a story. She taught kindness, culture, and life lessons through music and love—and made every kid feel like they belonged.

4. Littlefoot’s Mom

We only had her for a short time, but wow—she made a lasting impact. Strong, protective, and endlessly loving, Littlefoot’s mom gave us one of the most emotional moments of any ‘90s kid’s childhood.

5. Jill Taylor

Smart, sarcastic, and the real brains of the Taylor household. While Tim was busy blowing stuff up in the garage, Jill was raising three boys, holding down the fort, and somehow keeping her sanity.

6. Jane Read

Calm, collected, and endlessly patient—Jane was the quiet powerhouse behind the Read household. Whether she was handling Arthur’s drama, D.W.’s chaos, or making sure dinner was on the table

7. Vivian Banks

Smart, poised, and powerful. Aunt Viv wasn’t just the heart of the Banks family—she was the backbone

8. The Rugrats mommas

Didi Pickles

the sweet, anxious, parenting-book lover

Betty Deville

loud, proud, and always ready to speak her mind.

Charlotte Pickles

high-powered boss mom who somehow made “corporate queen” look maternal

9. Lisa Landry

Stylish, self-made, and always ready with a hilarious comeback. Lisa showed us single mom energy could be strong and fabulous.

10. Franklin’s Mom

Franklin’s mom always knew just what to say—calm, wise, and full of love. She helped guide Franklin through all his little life lessons with patience and kindness that made you feel safe just watching her.

11. Harriette Winslow

Harriette was the ultimate no-nonsense mom who kept her family grounded and her husband Carl in check. Played brilliantly by Jo Marie Payton, she balanced warmth with discipline and handled Steve Urkel’s antics like a true pro.

12. Carol Foster Lambert

The fun-loving, upbeat mom who kept the blended family on its toes. With her warm smile and quirky style, she brought a laid-back vibe to the chaos of step-parenting and showed us that family is all about love, laughter, and a little bit of craziness.

13. Doug’s Mom

Doug’s mom was the classic loving, supportive mom who kept the Funnie household running smoothly. She was always there with a kind word, a warm meal, and gentle guidance—basically the heart of Bluffington’s most lovable family.

14. Rebecca “Becky” Donaldson-Katsopolist

Rebecca, or “Becky,” was the cool, smart, and super supportive mom and wife who balanced working as a TV co-host with raising the Tanner kids. She kept things calm when the chaos hit and brought a fresh, modern vibe to the Fuller House crew.

15. Little Bear’s Mom

The softest, sweetest mom on TV—always calm, caring, and full of warmth. She was there for every adventure and lesson, a gentle presence that made the whole forest feel safe and loved. Pure comfort and love wrapped up in one mama bear.

16. Fran Fine

Not technically the mom, but emotionally? 100%. She brought love, chaos, and leopard print to the Sheffield fam and we adored every second of it..

17. Amy Matthews

Amy was the cool, understanding mom who balanced being a career woman with raising Cory and Eric. She wasn’t perfect, but she was real—offering advice, support, and sometimes a much-needed reality check. The kind of mom you wanted in your corner growing up.
