I'm currently driving a 2017 Mercedes-Benz E-Class that I absolutely love, but I've started noticing some worrying signs that the battery might be on its way out. I'm specifically looking for quality Fiamm battery installation in Abu Dhabi because I want to make sure the job is done right, especially with the battery registration and coding that Mercedes-Benz vehicles require. I've read that if you don't properly register the new battery to the car's computer, the charging system won't work optimally and you could end up with premature battery failure or even damage to the alternator. I definitely don't want to risk that happening. I've also heard that some workshops don't have the right diagnostic tools to do the coding properly, which is a major concern for me. I'm hoping someone here can recommend a trustworthy workshop or technician in Abu Dhabi that specializes in European cars and has experience with Fiamm batteries. I don't mind paying a bit extra for genuine expertise because I'd rather get it right the first time than deal with electrical problems down the line. Also, if anyone knows roughly what a Fiamm battery for an E-Class should cost including installation and coding, that would help me know if I'm being quoted a fair price. I'm planning to get this sorted soon because I've got a long road trip coming up and I really don't want to risk getting stranded somewhere. Any advice from fellow Mercedes owners in Abu Dhabi would be massively appreciated.
